Japan Craft Sake Week
Do you want to try good sake? Try to come
to the Craft Sake Week that held at Roppongi Hills and discover the world of
new Japanese traditional drink. There are 110 sake breweries in a week in
total, and everyday there are various sake from these unique breweries. Gourmet
also should know that there will be a several gourmet restaurant that
participate with their best works during the weeks of celebration.
Craft Sake Week was held in Roppongi from
2016. Produced by Kraft Sake Company of Japan, led by Hidetoshi Nakada who has
tried over 300 brand of sake. The event is known as “the place where people
enjoy and understand top brands”. Each day of the event has its own theme, led
by 10 different sake breweries. All brands are equally valued and participants
can find their favorite brands and sake-makers.
All of the sake that selected for Craft
Sake Week was carefully planned by Hidetoshi himself and a group of sake
experts. For this purpose, the selected brand is considered to be a drink that
can be enjoyed at that time. The lineup will change every year.
The event is usually held in the mid of
April, in case that you had the plan to go to Tokyo around that time, better
stop by and try some of the sake and food there before continuing your vacation
schedule. It is really recommended!!
